Programme Format

Three tracks covering today's cybersecurity landscape

Secure Cloud

Cloud-native security, Zero Trust, infrastructure-as-code, attack surfaces in multi-cloud environments.

Secure AI

Securing AI systems: prompt injection, model security, secure ML pipelines, governance.

Secure Systems

Low-level security: operating systems, embedded, memory safety, secure systems languages.

A practical angle throughout: Alongside the broader security content, several sessions look at memory-safe engineering (including Rust) as one practical response to real-world CVE classes, from cloud infrastructure to embedded systems.

The Concept

A dedicated security conference for the Ruhr region

"We're bringing the international cybersecurity community to Dortmund every two years"

Topic focus

Secure cloud, secure AI, secure systems

Core cybersecurity content across cloud, AI, and systems, with practical, hands-on sessions rather than theory alone.

Getting There

Travelling to Dortmund from abroad

Dortmund sits centrally in the Ruhr region and is well connected for international attendees via several airports and Germany's high-speed rail network.

✈️

By air

  • Dortmund Airport (DTM): right on the doorstep, mainly regional and low-cost connections within Europe. Roughly 20 to 30 minutes to the city centre by bus/taxi.
  • Düsseldorf Airport (DUS): the region's largest international hub with long-haul connections worldwide. About 45 minutes by direct train to Dortmund Hbf.
  • Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN): an alternative with good rail links, roughly 1 hour to Dortmund.
🚄

By train

  • Dortmund's main station (Hbf) sits on the ICE/IC long-distance network, with direct connections to Cologne, Frankfurt, Hannover, and Berlin.
  • International connections are available via Cologne (towards Brussels/Paris) or Frankfurt (a major international air hub).
  • From Dortmund Hbf, the conference venue will be a short taxi, public transit, or rental car ride away.
🚗

By car

  • Dortmund sits at the crossing of several motorways (A1, A2, A40, A44), easily reachable from the Netherlands, Belgium, and the rest of Germany.
  • On-site parking is planned for attendees driving in.

Accommodation recommendations will be published here once the venue is confirmed.
